You may have seen my posts, heard about Naturopaths or perhaps been told to go see a Naturopath.
Maybe you've been thinking about it for quite some time, but you aren't really sure what it is I actually can do for you.
I wanted to share 5 things you didn't know about a Naturopath in hopes of shedding some light on why it may be of benefit to you, or why someone may have said "you need to see Sarah"
1. Listening to your whole health history and journey and what brought you to us in the first place.
2. Understanding and explaining the workings of you, working with YOUR individual needs, it is not one size fits all when it comes to natural health.
3. Educating you to use Food as Medicine and let it be your medicine for the long haul.
As tots , we aren't taught much about how what goes into our bodies serves us, fuels us and grounds us. As a naturopath and nutritionist (personal trainer and beauty therapist), I will teach you how to nourish yourself holistically and individually to suit YOUR Individual needs and fuel your body accordingly.
4. Diving deep into misunderstood diagnosis, pathology and the ROOT cause of your symptoms.
We are clinically trained to look at bloods, send you for them, read them and explain them! Other testing is also available if I feel this is necessary such as stool testing, allergy testing, autoimmune/fertility/nutrients for example.
Last but not least,
5. Restoring your health
By working together in sessions longer than 10 minutes! the initial consult is 1.5hrs and follow ups 1hr - depending on your health condition we can work together for 3-6 months usually to restore health.
This isn't a bandaid style of health support.
Giving you an aid to fix an ailment isn't what I do, I give you the tools, guidance, support and nutritional medicine education to restore your health and this can take time, especially if your condition has been underlying for years.
